Let me start off by saying I’ve been in California 2 1/2 years and this was the very first Mexican restaurant that I actually say I enjoyed my food. All the staff was very friendly also very attentive to my drink refills and my needs, from the waiter to the manager to the other servers I had about 4 different employees check on me. The atmosphere and the people there really friendly, really upbeat place, nothing crazy super family friendly. I had the “Carne Asada a la Tampiqueña” super delicious the meat was seasoned perfectly, the cheeses enchilada hit the spot, rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned the beans where just right not to thick not to watery, perfection on a plate. If you are in the area this restaurant is a must try. Definitely will be returning as soon as tomorrow to try something new. ~ Gilbert G

This was my first time eating here. I went to lunch with a business partner. It has a lot of space on the inside which is good for having a conversation without necessarily overwhelming the booth or table next to you. I ordered the Toledo burrito and it was very good. It's what I would call a healthy burrito, it's not full of the cheese and other things. It was a great lunch selection because I had lots of energy and didn't feel like it ate something that slowed me down. I had the fried ice cream for dessert and it was delicious. Certainly big enough to share. The waiter was fantastic. Drinks for refilled and he checked on us often to make sure we were taking care of. I will definitely be going back and will bring more people. ~ Derek A

5/3 UPDATE: I'll be honest, we started out the evening going to another nearby Mexican restaurant wanting to try something new. We weren't there 5 minutes deciding we'd much rather have Toledo's, so we politely excused ourselves and left for what we knew would be GREAT! Chicken fajitas tonight! Delicious food, prompt courteous service, reasonable prices, very hard to beat this Toledo's! Very good food, we ordered the 3 item combo: shredded beef taco, enchilada & tostada. All 3 were overstuffed with beef! The entire entree was out to our table fast, it was hot & delicious! ~ P M

Greeted us as soon as we walked in and got seated very fast the wait dress was very friendly and I love that she didn't just take oir order but actually made conversation with is as well and she knew the menu too as and she kept our drinks and came by to check on us even after we had got our food (where I've had wait dresses just disappear once food got there) Just all together had loved the GREAT SERVICE and ATMOSPHERE there I left feeling very happy and FULL too!! Defiantly will be visiting there again soon and will bring my friends and family there as well ~ Diona M

This was our first visit since Covid hit about 18 months ago. No disappointments. We were seated immediately, the staff were using masks & gloves. The chips & salsa, cold beer & our dinners were just like they should be! Delicious chili Colorado burritos with rice & beans. They did make a change & the soup or salad is now extra charge, & we ordered the albondigas. Authentic, hot & so tasty! And the cost of the dinners are so reasonable! We finished with sharing an order of flan which was good as always! We have missed our favorite Mexican restaurant & so happy to return! ~ Anna R

The service is outstanding! Martha is the best! Every time she serves us, I am so happy! My beer was ice cold and the food delicious and piping hot. I normally wouldnt critique a salad, but it REALLY was the BEST salad I ever had! We ate everything on our plates...we were stuffed but the food was so good! We couldn't stop. When my brother comes to visit( he is in the service) he only wants to eat at Toledos! As it is so delicious! We will be back for as long as your doors are open( may they always be!) ~ Colleen C

It's the best since Mexico Cafe closed in China Town. I only go here no place else.The drinks are fabulous what I like if I'm by Riverpark I can go to the original been there since forever, if I'm by Fresno, and Shaw I can go in there also. I like all three restaurants Clovis is the newest but been there for a long time. I'm married to a Hispanic man so I can cook real well Mexican food, but I still enjoy going out to eat also. The food and service have always been great each time my family and I have visited any Toledo's in town. I stopped by yesterday morning to pick up a breakfast burrito to start my day and it hit the spot. I'd strongly suggest the 'Martha's special' if you haven't tried it. The albondigas soup and chips and salsa are the best I've tasted at any Mexican restaurant. Thank you Toledo's for your outdoor dining and staying open for us during this pandemic!! ~ Izaac

So today I walk into Toledo's Restaurant in Clovis...and this is the second time I've come across this person I felt uncomfortable..this person standing at counter.."doesn't welcome me or say hello...I believe his name is Martin...I'm not sure why he was there..but on most times we are greeted with other people working there that make us feel welcomed...we live north west in Fresno..but like the service at Clovis. We will continue to go here in Clovis..the Food is always fresh and delicious. ~ Irene H

My family recently purchased a large to-go order for a birthday party and my parents and even my 90-year-old grandfather RAVED about the food. We had the order set for 10:30am pickup and when I arrived at 10:27am they were bagging the food. They helped me carry it to my car and secure it to transport. I ended up with most of the leftovers and even days later it’s still super delicious. We got 3 of the meals for four: two chicken fajitas and one beef enchilada meals. 07/17/21 - Another awesome meal, had an amazing server who was not only friendly but went above and beyond in her service. The margaritas were delicious as always and so was the food. Great atmosphere and I can honestly say I'm never disappointed when I eat here. 3 months ago - Food was delicious as always and the service was fast and friendly. 08/03/25 - still one of my favorite Mexican restaurants to eat at, the food is always delicious and always comes out super fast. ~ Cherry

A bit pricey but their margaritas are amazing. My sister's always get them blended but I prefer the traditional on the rocks version. I don't eat meat so I'm pretty critical of all sides, nachos, cheese quality, and seafood quality. Everything here is good that I've had. I usually get either toastadas, shrimp fajitas, cheese enchiladas, seafood tacos, nachos, and I'm never disappointed. Their salsa is spicy and chips are delicious. ~ Shanon D

I had lunch at Toledo’s and it was so good! The chips and salsa are made fresh every day, and they’re delicious. The lunch special is a great deal - soup or salad, an entree with rice and beans, and a drink for a really reasonable price. I got the albóndigas and a chicken enchilada. The portions were so big, I couldn’t finish it all. Great service, great food, great prices. I’ll definitely be back! ~ Stephanie L

We went on Mother's day 2017. We had reservations for 11:00am. We were seated at 11:20. The service was good for as busy as the place was. It was kid friendly. The food was hot, the drinks were good. The entertainment was enjoyable and they catered to our requests. We were very satisfied with our Experience, would definitely recommend it to others. ~ Francine A

Has great atmosphere with a lot of food items to choose from but for the most part, it doesn't taste as authentic as I thought it would be. The service, the live music, the televisions, and the restaurant itself is very beautiful and the food is very delicious but if you're looking for authentic Mexican Cuisine, this may or may not be the place for your taste buds. ~ Felipe

What can I say except DELICIOUS. This place serves great food and drinks, the atmosphere is laid back but fun, live music on Sunday's which only adds to the already nice place to eat and mingle with friends and family. I haven't had a bad meal here and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of great food they serve on your plates. I just keep going back because it's that good. ~ Sissy G

Very good food and good service Note to management: I would have liked 3 Baskets of them very tasty chips rather than 2 considering there was 8 of us at the table or at the very least have the baskets full, when we was seeted they was only 1/3 full and was emptied in no time. My suggestion is (The first baskets should be full then you can skimp on the replacement to prevent waste) Love Daniel ~ ClovisX P

Great food" service"and the prices are very reasonable. You must visit" try the chilaquiles" or guevos con Chile Verde special Monday through Fridays" 8am till 11am". There's always great specials" and an even better happy hour" great margaritas" lots of beer selections" and 6 dollar appetizers" you can't beat that". Very pleasant place to have breakfast. Our server was name Danielle. She made alternative choices to a spicy dish that I wanted to order and it was pretty good. She was on her game and was very attentive to what we needed. We ate on the patio and never once felt ignored. The coffee was fresh and the food was great. Having great service tends to make the time spent at an establishment enjoyable. 😀 ~ Patricia G

According to Toledo’s website, Toledo’s was voted Fresno’s best authentic Mexican Food restaurant. We agree, and the same goes for the Clovis restaurant. The dining area appears to have been updated since the pandemic. My dining companion ordered the enchiladas supreme with rice and beans. I ordered the pork tamale and chicken enchilada combination with rice and beans. Delicious! ~ Christine K

I have been in the Fresno area for three days. This was by far the best service and food since I've been here. Great chips and salsa. They had some kind of soup with a meatball in it that was outstanding. The rice and beans were great. The wait staff were smiling and friendly. I'll definitely go again the next time I'm in town. ~ Chris D

6buck Monday bar grub. Well worth it. We were out of town and this place looked upper class. And it is. Great atmosphere. Clean. Great service. Greeted at the door and thanked as we left. We will be back in Clovis in a couple of weeks and look at the full menue. It was apparent that there were many regulars. We an see why. ~ Denis L

Toledo's is a regular go-to for Sunday lunch dates with my husband. We have tried many different menu items and are always pleased. The albondigas soup is both of our favorites and occasionally we order it to take home and freeze so it's on hand if a cold hits! The service and quality is consistantly excellent. ~ Jodi B

Authentic food with the best salsa in town, have a drink nearby when you dip your chip into the homemade salsa, so spicey it will wake up your taste buds! Variety of drinks to wash it down, they make great margaritas! Friendly staff from the moment you enter their doors. Enjoyed the food and friendly atmosphere. ~ John B
